Aviva Stadium

For only the third time in history, Ireland will begin the 6 Nations Championship as Grand Slam Champions. The 2019 tournament promises to be the most competitive in years as each team looks to build momentum ahead of the Rugby World Cup in Japan later that year.

Ireland will start the defence of their title against an English team that will be hungry for revenge having been completely outplayed by Ireland at Twickenham in 2018. Joe Schmidt will be eager to continue his impressive home record though when the two titans of Northern Hemisphere rugby clash at the Aviva Stadium on the opening weekend of the tournament.
